Theory: In Karate Kid 3 after Daniel blows all the money on the Bonsai store, Johnny hears about it in a small poster ad while wondering the streets looking for work. During the match between LaRusso and Barnes, Johnny leaves an envelope of $5000 as a way to to repay Mr. Myagi for saving his life from Kreese. That would explain why Myagi is still fortunate in Karate Kid 4.

I like Johnny far more than Daniel His heart is always in the right place. He has flaws but he tries to do the right thing and he loves and cares about his kids. He is a lot easier to cheer for than Daniel

Daniel clearly had the better adult figures but poor material things in his life. He lived in a crappy apartment/no fancy cars or motor bikes. Cool timeline on Johnny Lawrence's events but you forgot that he actually joined the United States Air Force instead of not attending college where he spent serveral years in active duty (or possibly got discharged because of misconduct, the details are a little blurry) before being discharged and relocated to Colorado where he attempted to take a few college courses and working odd jobs, eventually becoming a certified Construction worker and later moved to Encino Hills.

HERE IS THE REAL BEGINNING OF THE JOHNNY LAWRENCE STORY BEFORE HE JOINED COBRA KAI: Johnny Lawrence was born in The Hamptons in New York around 1967. Johnny grew up with very rich parents with his mother and rich father at fancy large mansion that rival's Yorkshire Tudors in England. His mother owned a salon and his father works for Fred and Donald Trump's Real Estate Development Company as a financier. Johnny has one order sister and a brother. When Johnny was 7 years old, his real father had an affair with Trump's female intern. One day when Johnny's mother was in Manhattan shopping she walked into a fancy restaurant in Park Ave. and by surprise her husband is with his female intern kissing. Johnny's mother was so furious that she ran into the restaurant and started to grab a bottle of wine and pour on the lady's head. Then she turns to her husband and starts yelling, cussing and fighting him. And told him not to come to the house for a few days. All the customers were shocked and cheered with excitement. The employees broke up the fight and escorted Johnny's mother out of the restaurant. Johnny's mother broke down in tears and went home. After a few months Johnny's mother talked to her young son, and siblings that she will file for a divorce, sell the shop and move away. She also told the children that family will be splitting up. Johnny's dad will keep the house and since Johnny's brother and sister are going to college soon, they will had to stay with their father for financial support. Johnny's mother will take Johnny and move to Los Angeles, California to stay with her older Aunt. She will get half of the estate and no visitation rights for the children. Johnny will never see his real father and his older sister and brother again. When Johnny and his mother arrived in L.A. and stay with her older Aunt's large ranch. She was offered a job as a celebrity hairstylist for Warner Bros Studios. Months later a charming man came into the salon for a hair trim. He introduces his name to Johnny's mother and told her that she is a film producer. Later after a year of dates (When Johnny turned 10 years old) Johnny's mother was married to him. She and Johnny moved into his mansion in Recida, CA. Two years later Johnny's step father showered Johnny with gifts and not attend to use them. That made him quite upset and starts to scold at him every time he makes mistakes or disobeys. Johnny also having trouble making friends and was bullied at lot. Johnny told his mother and step father about it. But his step father told him to stop being a coward and fight back. A year later as Johnny rides his bike while listening to his cassette walk man with headphones he approaches to a dojo called Cobra Kai. Johnny was amazed of the class full of students learning the way of the fist to strike hard, strike first and no mercy. Johnny went to see his mother and step father about paying for Karate lesions. After his step dad scolded at him, he agrees. And the Johnny Lawrence Story of become a Cobra Kai Student begins..
